Triple successes were achieved by Lewes AC athletes in the hilly Crowborough 10K plus team and individual successes in the Harvey Curtis sponsored Sussex Road Race Challenge. Members and guests of Lewes Athletics Club marked the official re-opening of the Lewes Community Track on Tuesday evening 24th November with a mass celebratory run round the recently resurfaced track. Last Sunday 36 Lewes AC members together with 2,700 runners in the Brighton 10K did battle with the weather along Brighton Sea front. Lewes AC runners tackle the Beachy Head Marathon

17 Lewes AC runners decided that they would spend their Saturday taking on one of the toughest marathons in the South East. Not content with running in excess of 26 miles there are 300 steps and 14 gates to tackle along the route.
