6th December in the WSEH open at Eton saw Livvy Connor (U20W) open her Pole Vault season with a fine clearance at 3.80m. Sunday 13th December saw Jack Harris (U17M) and Bill Saunders (U17M) competing in the Vault at Brunel jumps series. Jack cleared three new pbs to raise his best from 3.32m to 3.61m. In the tough and hilly cross county course at Lancing the Lewes team packed their 4 scoring runners at the front of the race. Triple successes were achieved by Lewes AC athletes in the hilly Crowborough 10K plus team and individual successes in the Harvey Curtis sponsored Sussex Road Race Challenge. Members and guests of Lewes Athletics Club marked the official re-opening of the Lewes Community Track on Tuesday evening 24th November with a mass celebratory run round the recently resurfaced track.
