Seven Lewes athletes selected for Schools T & F
Seven Lewes athletes have been included in the 60 strong Sussex track & field team. The team will travel to Gateshead for the English Schools championships on the 10th & 11th of July. Its a big achievement to gain the entry standard and get through the selection process. Record breaking runs by Lewes AC runners in South Downs 100 mile Relay
In the tough 100-mile relay along the South Downs against 67 teams from across the South Region Lewes AC runners came away with three wins out of the four on offer. Fifty Nine athletes entered producing many lifetime bests, 24 medals, two championships records and 6 club records. The championship records both came on Sunday in the Pole Vault.
