Excellent results for Lewes AC runners in a windy Brighton 10K
Last Sunday 36 Lewes AC members together with 2,700 runners in the Brighton 10K did battle with the weather along Brighton Sea front. Despite the challenging conditions and very strong winds the Lewes runners turned in some excellent results.
David Bradford was 19th in a wind affected time of 34mins 13secs. David led home a pack of Lewes runners with Mike Ellicock next across the line in 22nd place with a time of 34.24. This time and place gave Mike 3rd place in the men aged over 40 category. In 27th place was Lewis Sida in a time 35.00mins and 4th man over 40. Filling fifth spot in the men aged over 40 category was Chris Gilbert in 16th place in a time of 39.09.
