At the Sussex under 13 championships held at the Withdean Stadium on the 3rd July the Lewes AC young athletes won nine championship medals. Anouska Fairhurst led the medal haul with two gold medals. At the Youth Development League on Sunday 19th June at the Lewes track Anouska Fairhurst threw the javelin 37.37metres. This is a new under 13 age Sussex, League and Club record. Rob Mullett a Lewes AC athlete since he was a young athlete aged 11 is on course to compete in the Rio Olympics this year.
