Anouska Fairhurst has her first outing as an U15 Javelin thrower. Her throw of 39.40m at Gillingham in the YDL league destroyed the Lewes U15 girls record adding 10.56m to the previous mark. She goes straight to the top of the UK rankings and is just 95cm away from the Sussex record.

Up against 220 club teams from across Sussex clubs there were some great results and some near misses for Lewes AC runners. Held over four tough and testing courses at Goodwood, Lancing Manor, Stanmer Park and Hickstead Show Ground the team were convincing winners.
