The Sussex Indoor Championships had its normal poor entry numbers however a few from Lewes did make the trip to Carshalton and came back with seven medals and two club records. The Lewes AC women’s team won the Sussex Athletics cross country league. Held over four tough and testing courses at Goodwood, Lancing Manor, Stanmer Park and Hickstead Show Ground the team were convincing winners. SEAA Indoor Champioships

Two Lewes athletes competed at the SEAA U15/U17 Indoor Championships held at Lee Valley over the weekend. Both came away with medals Jack Harris claimed the Silver in the U17m Pole Vault equalling the indoor club record with a 3.90m vault.
