Massive turnout for the Lewes Festival of Running and Fun Run on Easter Monday

Organised by the Lewes Athletic Club there was a fantastic turnout for all the races put on by the club at the Lewes Athletic track. There were over 1,000 runners in the four events and with friends and spectators coming to enjoy the day the crowd swelled to nearly 2,000 people. Lewis leads for Lewes AC in the Brighton Marathon

Lewis Sida had a storming run in the Brighton Marathon finishing 36th out of the 8,500 marathon and 10K finishers. The battle of the Hastings Half Marathon

Twenty five Lewes AC runners travelled to Hastings to do battle in the tough Hastings Half Marathon race. With nearly 3,500 finishers in the 13.1 mile race the Lewes AC runners came back with a stack of great individual and team results. Four Lewes athletes competed at Vault Manchester held at the Etihad stadium on Saturday 8th March. Bill Saunders U15B set two new pbs on his way to picking up the Silver medal. Held over the weekend of the 1st & 2nd of March at the EIS Sheffield. Jack Harris competed on Saturday in the U15B Pole Vault. Jack did well to finish sixth clearing 2.70m which well below his best.
