Just a word from across the Atlantic Rob Mullett came second in a 1500m race in Indianopolis on the 4th May in a cracking time of 3mins 45.08secs. Rob also currently tops the 2012 UK rankings for the 3000m Steeple Chase with a time of 8mins 32.80secs.

The club was in action over the May Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday competing in the Young Athlete’s League at Maidstone in Kent. Mike Scholes a 58 year old runner with very little sight ran a fantastic 3hrs 14mins 48sec London Marathon guided by Dave Bradford from the Lewes Club. There were some amazing results for Lewes AC runners in the Brighton Marathon held on Sunday. There were eight life time bests out of the 16 Lewes AC runners taking part. There were amazing performances by Lewes AC athletes over the last weekend with National, County and Club records achieved, many personal bests secured over a very busy few days for the club.
