Sussex Indoor Championships at Sutton Arena

Lewes AC were well represented at the Sussex Indoors Athletic Championships at the Sutton Arena. In the senior men’s pole vault Sam Brown picked up the gold medal with a vault of 4.40m. Cross Country Newes

Last weekend was the English School Cross Country Championships at Ilton near Taunton in Somerset where the best 300 runners from schools from 39 Counties compete as teams and as individuals. Congratulations to Josh Burgess who over the weekend won the Prison Service National Cross Country Championship at Birmingham. Running for the Lewes Prison, where Josh works, he had a great run to finish first and become National Champion. Lewes Festival of Running – Easter Monday 9th April.

Now in its 28th year the Lewes Athletic Club is again organising its festival of running and Fun Run at the Lewes Running track on Easter Monday.
