Well done to a much depleted team due to the summer holidays. The U15 final held at Withdean stadium Brighton on Friday 31.07.2009. A team of six tackled the 100 mile South Downs Relay on Saturday 6th June and came 4th out of 47 teams. Aiming for a top ten place the team were 5 minutes off third place in a time of 11 hours 22 minutes. Held at Sutton arena over last weekend. The normal poor turn out from Lewes AC, with only seven athletes turning out. Thursday 19th February saw two Lewes athletes competing in the third Horsham open 50m Sprints and Hurdles held at Broadbridge Heath. Olivia Conner twice equalled her own club U13 girls 50m sprint record of 7.6. Emilie Blackwell set a new club record of 8.6 seconds in the 50m hurdles.
