Sam Brown cleared 4.21m to set a new club senior record and Claudette Povey set a new club women’s record with a pb 2.50m. Emilie Blackwell cleared a new pb of 3.35m to set a new U17W record. There were some stunning performances by Lewes AC members in Sunday’s Brighton Marathon. With over 6,000 runners Robbie James was 10th overall in a time 2.37.49, was the second runner from Sussex and the first man over 40. Not to be outdone Maria Judd was 20th women in the marathon in a time of 3.21.33 and was the third women in the over 45 category….

In a close fought league competition Lewes AC won the last event at Cross in Hand which gave the club the league win consisting of six events.
