On the same day and evening as the Phoenix 10K Lewes AC had 10 younger athletes competing in the open event at Crawley. It must have been something in the air as the ten athletes achieved 12 life time bests in their events. This included a new club record for Sam Rogers who ran 2mins 07.20 for the under 15 boys 800 metres.

Lewes AC win at Heathfield 10K
The Lewes AC men’s team at the Heathfield 10K won both the individual prizes and also the team event. David Bradford won the overall event in a time of 34m 23secs with David’s brother Matt finishing in third place in 36mins 32secs.
