There were over 300 runners competing in the Lewes Athletic Club’s 10 mile and 5 mile Downland Runs on Sunday 7th October 2012. Club runners were in action in the cross country relays at Goodwood on Saturday 29th September. Vaulters sucess

Lewes AC pole vaulters took part the Jim Day Memorial Pole Vault Competition at the Sutton Arena on the 23rd September where 100 vaulters from a wide range of clubs across the South East were competing for honours. David Bradford competing in the Berlin Marathon and Alf Pollard competing the World Duathon Championships in Nancy in France both came away with some stunning results. PBs aplenty on the prom

Twenty members of Lewes AC took part in the Hove Prom 10K road race on Sunday. Despite a noticeable south-westerly breeze, several athletes recorded personal best (PB) performances on the pan-flat, two-lap promenade course. Sussex Combined Events Championships – Three medals for Lewes AC athletes

There were three athletes competing in the Combined Events Championships over the weekend all of whom came away with championship medals.
