Lewes Athletic Club 2026 Summer Athletics Camps Now Open for Booking
Lewes Athletic Club is delighted to announce that bookings are now open for its popular Summer Athletics Camps, offering children the opportunity to develop their athletics skills in a fun, supportive and active environment.
Open to both Lewes AC members and non-members, the camps will take place at the Lewes Athletic Track, Mountfield Road, Lewes, BN7 2XG, with activities running from 10.00am to 3.00pm each day.
Camp Dates
Summer Camp 1 (Just after the secondary schools break up!)
- Thursday 23 July – Friday 24 July (2-day camp)
Summer Camp 2
- Monday 27 July – Wednesday 29 July (3-day camp)
Summer Camp 3
- Wednesday 26 August – Friday 28 August (3-day camp)
What Can Children Expect?
The camps provide a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to Run, Jump and Throw under the guidance of Lewes AC’s qualified athletics coaches.
Participants will have the chance to try a wide range of athletics disciplines and activities, including:
- Sprinting and starts
- Long jump
- Pole vault
- Discus
- Fun team games
- And much more
Whether children are completely new to athletics or already have experience in the sport, the camps are designed to help them develop skills, build confidence and make new friends while staying active during the school holidays.
Camp Costs
- Summer Camp 1 (2 days): £60
- Summer Camp 2 and Summer Camp 3 (3 days): £90
The cost of each camp includes a Lewes AC training t-shirt for every participant.
HAF Places Available
Lewes Athletic Club is pleased to be able to offer 15 Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme places for Summer Camp 3.
Bookings for Summer Camp HAF places will be available from 8 June via the EEQU website.
