Success in the Berlin Marathon
With over 37,000 finishers in the Berlin Marathon on Sunday 25th September two Lewes AC athletes had fantastic runs to finish at the sharp end of the race.
Mike Ellicock finished in a brilliant time of 2hours 31mins 41secs which placed him 104th overall and 11th in the men aged over 40 category. Mike’s time was 7minutes quicker than his time set in April at the Brighton Marathon and sets a new personal best time for the marathon.
Also running a brilliant race and time was Lewis Sida who in the men aged over 45 category came 10th in a time of 2hours 37mins 22secs which placed him 202nd overall in the race.
