A trio of Lewes athletes have been selected to represent Sussex schools at the English Schools championships being held at the Alexander Stadium Birmingham on the 9th & 10th July 2010.
The three athletes have all achieved the exacting English schools entry standards, which in itself is fantastic feat.

Sam Brown Senior Boys Pole Vault.
Emilie Blackwell Inter Girls Pole Vault.
Bryce Williams-Watson Junior Boys Pole Vault.
Sam Brown selection is his fourth to these championships and if he can vault near to his p.b. of 4.41m must have his best chance so far of a medal.
Emilie Blackwell although in her first year in her age group has a good chance of a top five placing if her ankle ligament injury clears up in time.
Bryce has excelled already by improving his p.b. by 55cm in the last two months just to qualify for the champs.
