On Saturday 5th June 2010 the Senior A team of Sussex AC took bronze medals in the 100 mile South Downs Relay.
With 57 teams entered from across the South of England a third place for Lewes was a fantastic achievement. Well done guys.
In scorching weather and high temperatures the team of six competed the 100 miles in 30 seconds under the 11 hours.
The team was Dave and Matt Bradford, Alan Velecky, Simon Thomas, Andrew Masters and Martin Komen.
