Held at Lewes on Monday 5th July.
A good turnout from Lewes athletes, with a number of personal bests.
The girls came second to a very strong Brighton team.
The boys managed to push Brighton into second place by a single point.
Overall Lewes finished second behind Brighton.

Sunday 4th July at K2 centre Crawley saw the first Sussex U11 Quadkids championships. A large field saw only three Lewes athletes competing.
Matt Pickering ran the 75m in 11.8 the 600m in 2.01 jumped 1.86m in the standing long jump and threw the vortex howler 34.06m (some 8m further than any other competitor) to take the gold medal.

A trio of Lewes athletes have been selected to represent Sussex schools at the English Schools championships being held at the Alexander Stadium Birmingham on the 9th & 10th July 2010.
The three athletes have all achieved the exacting English schools entry standards, which in itself is fantastic feat.

On Saturday 5th June 2010 the Senior A team of Sussex AC took bronze medals in the 100 mile South Downs Relay.
With 57 teams entered from across the South of England a third place for Lewes was a fantastic achievement. Well done guys.
In scorching weather and high temperatures the team of six competed the 100 miles in 30 seconds .... |

Wednesday 2nd June at Withdean stadium.
Lewes athletes Livvy Conner, Millie Cable, Ruby Whyte-Wilding and Alex Chitty took the year 7 girls Quadrathlon by storm.
Alex Chitty finished in 10th position 70m hurdles 15.7, Long jump 3.22, Shot putt 4.76m and 3.01.9 for 800m.
Millie Cable finished in Bronze medal position with 1559 pts. 70m hurdles 13.6, Long Jump 4.34m, Shot putt 6.83m .... |
