Sussex Schools Cross Country Championships, 21 January 2012
With great runs at the Sussex Schools Cross Country Championships at the weekend Maddy Smith and Ludo Goodliffe both qualified to run at the National English Schools Cross Country Championships at Taunton in Somerset in March. Maddy was fourth in her race in Sussex in a time of 19mins.01sec and Ludo was third .... |

Lewes AC athletes produced some very good results at the South of England Indoor Championships last weekend.
On Saturday Sam Brown placed sixth in the Senior mens Pole Vault clearing 4.20m, well down on his personal best but at not his favourite venue! James Shackleton cleared 3.20m just short of his personal best to take 4th place in the under-17 .... |

Lewes AC had a good day out at the Sussex Masters Cross Country Championships, run on Saturday in mild conditions over a strenuous course from Lancing all the way up to Cissbury Ring and back (or in the case of the men, up and back twice).
The women's over-45 team came in fourth out of ten teams, with 43 position points .... |

15 young athletes from the club travelled to Horsham to take part in an indoor sprints and hurdles competition in the ‘tube’ at Broadbridge Heath. With the weather as cold as it has been this was a good choice and there were some good performances.
